6 Disk CD Changer

I have the Ford installed 6 Disk CD changer in my '98 Explorer Sport. The CD changer will not eject the magazine. I can hear a clicking sound when power is applied. Any ideas on a fix?

You may have to take off the cover and manually eject the cartridge out.. I've had to do that once on my CD Changer.

Thanx for your reply Ben. This is really bugging me. How did you remove the cover? I've attempted to remove the entire unit, but was stopped by the connector, I could not get it unmated. By cover, do you mean the top of the unit that slides over the magazine?

This happened to me once, a damn quarter fell in it . had to yank the whole thing and take it apart to get it out. Try using some pliers to get the connector out.
