That will never align. The Camber and Caster will be way out of spec. You will need at least drop brackets to get those back to somewhere close.

Edit: I see you got an alignment. What size bushings did they use and what were your final alignment specs? (caster/camber)

when i got the alignment the guy put in the second to largest bushings and all the specs were stock specs

not too much but around here we dont rock climb we just mud bog so i really dont need much. (if i spent the money on extended shocks and brake lines it would have 4-5 inches of travel easy)
Edit: did you mean how much the tires go under the fenders?

See if you can find the numbers.. Most people that even put on 2" coils can't get it aligned to spec (just close)..

Also with those coil seperators do your coils even move? (up travel)

yes i get a good 4 inches of travel up

well, the stock suspension travels about 8". This means that the coils spring will droop and bump a total of 8". you have put in a taller coil meaning that for sure eats up 2" of downtravel (due to the range of motion of radius arms as wll as the plunge of the middle axleshaft yoke on) Then you have put 6 "twist in" coil spacers for allegedly 4" of lift, so essentially your radius arm bushings are likely maxed out to the bottom of your range of motion thus limiting any down travel.

Adding these "Coil spacers" will also limit the uptravel because there is no chance for the coil springs to compress.

Basically, if you drive over a pothole, you have no droop causing the entire truck to bounce on these hits and your entire truck will ride like a radio flyer wagon.

For any new guy on here researching how to lift a 91-94 Explorer I'm just going to go out and say this isn't a great idea.

well all i know is that it works for me and it rides close to stock

.......I am not buying this...There are to many things wrong with this equation and I could only imagine the ride...

...I can't see this coming in to alignment specs unless you are using old springs...:dunno:

:ttiwwp:

if youre gonna go to all the trouble of spacers here and there why not just stuff some lift coils in there and call it good....thats basically what youve explained. as for alignment angles......i have to take a nap after imagining that one.

Wow it rides "close to stock"?

I guess all that matters ist that you are happy with it.

you keep saying the truck rides close to stock, how bad did your truck ride stock?

all i can say is WOW, with 2" ext coils no one would even try to align my truck. and those 'twist in' spacers are a joke, and also a deadly weapon when one shoots out.

i need to see some pictures of this carnage.

honestlycant see how this could posibly work out.
i was using the largest adjuster bushing i could get my hands on to get my specs to something i was happy with only having 2 inches of lift.

having had this beam in and out a few times now i dont see how you could work in 6 inches of lift in the first place let alone have it not almost maxed out on down travel at ride hight. theoretically you should have 2" down max noow, and to many spacers to allow much up

im not saying it couldnt be done, and im not saying it dosnt work for you, but i just dont think its a good, safe idea...

probaly not safe but for perry florida its safe enough compared to some other stuff ive seen. plus the alignment shops arund here do the specs like you want them.

Pics of trucks please. Really want to see what this looks like.
