I ordered the 2 Infinity perfect 12.1's, and the 611A amp to drive it.

I also have the 7541A amp on order to drive the 4 door speakers.

My only thing I'm hung up on is if I should get the Infinity kappa 6x8's or 5 1/4" components?

(6x8) Kappa 680.7cs:

MSRP U.S. $: 349.95
Power Handling, RMS: 90 Watts
Power Handling, Peak: 270 Watts
Sensitivity: 94dB
Frequency Response: 45Hz - 25kHz
Mounting Depth: 2-1/4"
Impedance: 2 Ohms

(5 1/4) kappa 50.7cs:
MSRP U.S. $: 329.95
Power Handling, RMS: 85 Watts
Power Handling, Peak: 255 Watts
Sensitivity: 94dB
Frequency Response: 55Hz - 25kHz
Mounting Depth: 2-1/16"
Impedance: 2 Ohms

...thoughts?

if you gonna spend so much on the system i would get the 6.5" ones. more bass, and you can mount the tweaters in the door moldings. might have to fab a bracket tho.

With those 2 amps, are you going to run a cap or a stronger battery?

im looking into a very sim setup and is curious, im new on this stuff.

OK, so what all is involved with getting a 6 1/2" to fit in a 3rd gen door?
...and is it the same process for the front and rear doors?

With the 2 amps I'm installing an optima red top battery, and yes I will
install a cap (even if it's useless, there will be one there). I'm running a
4-guage wire to the amps from the battery....

Search for my thread entitled "component install pics" for details on putting in my 6.5" Boston SL60's.

Thanks... I guess I should have updated the thread.

I have the adapters, and I ordered the 60.7cs speakers over the weekend.
