83-92 Ranger rear bumper on 91 explorer?

There is a smittybuilt rear tube bumper for sale for a 83-92 ranger and I was wondering will it fit on my 91 explorer without modifications

The 91-94 Ford Explorer front Bumper, Grill, headlamps & Hood were the same as the 89-92 Ranger. But the 83-88 Ranger Bumpers were different than the 89-92.

So I would say YES. It should fit.

edit: oops. I didn't see where it said REAR bumper.....

The frame on an X at the rear is much wider than a Rangers. I think you are out of luck.

Have you tried James Duff they have tube bumpers for a 91 X.

I thought they only made a front bumper? I'll have to look into that, But this one's only $125. How much wider is the frame? I have a welder if needed
