88 Ranger cowl hood on a 93 Explorer??

Does anyone know if it would be possible to put a cowl induction hood for an 83-88 Ranger or one for an 89-92 Ranger? I found them at these site and I would be EXTREMELY excited if they actually fit. Here are the links to the site that I found:

89-92 will work but not 83-88

Pauls right In 89 they changed to the same style front as 91-94 explorers, from the beginning to 88 were all the same.

i would love to get that 88-92 ram air hood (mach1) but 400 and somethin dollars is too much for me right now
