88 to 89 2.9L BII 4X4 engine swap

I have an 88 BII 4X4 with an A4LD that is junk in it. However, it has a great running 2.9 in it. I've got an 89 BII 4X4 5spd with a junk 2.9 in it. I want to swap the engine out of the 88 into the 89. Am I going to run into any problems with the bell housings matching at the engine? Or is this just a simple swap?

all you should have to do is take the flexplate off the auto engine and put the flywheel off the standard engine on it, if its like most engines, and i assume it is, it has a bushing that goes in the output of the engine where the input shaft of the trans connects, other then that you should be golden. somebody correct me if im wrong but they have all the same injections etc.
