Yep save the the $89 for dinner or a spare shift motor or something. high lift jack? :D

In all seriousness, check the brake booster area for a loose harness/plug.

I had a friend with an F-150 whose ABS Light was on, I saw a plug that wasn't in, plugged it up and it was fixed. It's just worth checking.

I know that autozone there code reader won't do abs. I have tryed that, I endednup changing the relays on the passanger side. And that fixed it.

if you have a midas near by they did mine for $35

The first generation has a wire coming off of the ABS module that has to be grounded in order to read the codes. The ground signal will put it into a diagnostic mode, and the ABS light will flash a code. Check this thread for more information: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=241825
