91 navajo 4wd to 2wd manual transmission?

Hi guys! I need some help with my Navajo .... has a 5-speed manual transmission (m5od I think) and I'll turn it into 2wd but I do not know what transmission should use, I can still use the same transmission without front drive shaft? any other transmission that I can use? maybe a transmission of a ranger, bronco or Mazda B-series .... but 2wd? I need some help guys ... greetings to all!

the Hollander Exchange says: (4 X2)

91-97 Explorer
94-97 Mazda B-4000
91-94 Navajo
88-92 Ranger (2.9 V-6) (Toyo Kogyo)
90-97 Ranger (4.0)
..are direct replacements

others may work, but I'd stick with interchange listed trannies
