I had a '91 Explorer XLT that I used a set of wheels tires on. Problem is, the bolt pattern on these wheels measures 5x5.5 - not 5x4.5! I've most recently used them on my '76 Scout with a Dana 44 which, according to the books, does use a 5x5.5 pattern.
My question is, how in the world, without some adapter (which I'm almost positive the XLT didn't have) did the 5x5.5's fit?
10:1 I'm crazy or don't remember an adapter, but is it possible that some version of a '91 Explorer XLT (4 door, 5sp MT) used that pattern???
