'92 explorer

i have a 92 explorer and im pretty sure its an XLT its only a 2wd but if i lifted it and put some good tires on it could i go offroading with it? if not what else would i have to do.

well as far as extreme offroading goes, probably not. It really helps to have 4wd. There are ways to convert a 2x4 into a 4x4, you might wanna look those up. As long as you stay away from a lot of mud and extreme hills and other conditions i would imagine that trails would be ok.
