I have a 92 X I plan on putting the 94 4.0 into it. I really dont feel like swaping the cams, So what wiring do I require from the 94. I expect I'll need the engine bay harness and ECU is there anything else I will need?

You shouldn't have to do really anything to the wiring to get the 94 engine to work. The only difference is there is a cam sensor and EGR on the 94 that your 92 engine doesn't have, but you can just not use those and you will be fine.

Both motors are the same generation, so it should pretty much be plug and play.

Ditto..

If you were going the other way around you would have had to install the CMP (Cam sensor), and basically used the intake and exhaust from the '94 to get the EGR system..

But, since your gonig the other way around I don't think you need to swap the intake and exhaust since as along as your aren't hooking anything up to the EGR the EGR will act as if it isn't there.

Since the main connections for the engine electrical by the Alternator are 2 different styles on the 94 and 92 engines I should just swap the harness off the 92 onto the 94.
