92 XLT going to MI

I have a 92 XLT 4x4. Currently OOC with a second transmission failure. First transmission cost enough to make me consider doing the V8 swap. I know it will cost more but in the end I expect it to be well worth it. I'm sure I will be posting on the explorer projects board when I start this spring or early summer. I currently live in Charlottesville, VA but in less than 2 months will be in the Detroit area.

This past weekend I filled up the ATF and nothing came out. I found a few post on here about the front seal going and then resealing. I'm sure it's not that reliable but so far it's getting me to and from work. Hope it holds till I can get the V8 and 4r70w to put in it.
