I recently installed a new fuel pump and for the last month or so it has worked fine. Recently I have had a problem with it stalling at stops and dying. I can usually restart the engine and then when I push the gas pedal it wants to spit and sputter sometimes it just goes and sometimes not. Can I check the pressure regulator or is it a fuel pump? I only changed the original because the float did not work.

Got test gauge from parts store. Car started and ran then gauge went wild. Pulled vacuum line and plugged but no change went ahead and changed regulator. Went to work and drove fine but had same trouble on way home. Guess I will pull pump out this weekend.

What kind of pump did you install?

Benjam :D

Do you have to take out seat? Where do you cut hole.

Installed new pump after cutting access hole. If I had not had so much trouble with fittings on fuel line it would have been a very quick job. Ran fine and drove to town and made several stops and seems to have done the track.
