have a 93 4x2 4dr. Problem 1 interior lights will not go off. Made sure the light switch was turned off looked at all of the door pins and they seem to be working. Any suggestions? Problem 2 the rear wiper motor stopped working. I check for power at the motor and only have 125volts on the red wire, the black is ground my question what is the white for(control switch power)???

Thanks

Is there a dome light switch? Maybe you just have it turned on?

Did check that and it was turned off.

Thanks

Are there any other lights on like the courtesy lamps in the doors or the cargo area light?

My 93 4 door likes to do this every now and then and it is always a door pin switch. I normally spray a bit of wd 40 on them and then work them like crazy one by one as I look at the lights to see if they are going on and off finally.
if you do that and it is still not the door pin switches I would take a close look at your head light switch check it for operation with a meter to see if your getting power when and were you should and not when and were you should not. To my thinking there the main points that would do this and do not forget the tail gate door switch also. It is a little harder to get to at lest for me then the rest of them.

As far as the rear wiper, I can only speak from experience with mine. It went from getting stuck on the wrong side to working intermittently to failing. I replaced it with a reman from autopartswharehouse and it is fine now.
