So are the 2 bearings in the rotor the only bearings in the front wheel?

Inside the spindle are the spindle bearings that the axleshaft rides on. These are often neglected. These are accessed by removing the spindle (after you get the rotor off) and then greasing up the needle bearing just inside the spindle. The spindle can be difficult to remove if it hasn't been off in a long time.

yeah there are 2 bearings inside the rotor on each side, so 4 in total... they should all be the same (I think if its 4x4 they are all the same, if its 2x4 they are different)... these are your wheel bearings

forgotten bearing

since the truck is already this far apart you should take off the five nuts holding on the spindle and grease or replace the roller bearing in the spindle.if the grease gets displaced by dirt or moisture it will ruin the outer axle shaft which is much more expensive than the 7$ bearing it sits in.these almost never get checked during a wheel bearing service.make sure you get or rent the 4 prong hub tool and torque the wheel bearing jam nuts to around 150lb/ft.
