94 rear shackle repair

Does anyone know if the bushings will stay in the leaf spring when i remove the bolts, or will they come out and need to be replaced. I am getting ready to replace them and am just planning. Thanks!

The bushings will almost certainly stay in the leaf spring unless they are just completely trashed and falling apart.

It usually takes a LOT of effort to get leaf spring eyelet bushings out, so I doubt you have anything to worry about if you want them to stay in.

If you want them out, you'll need a bushing press, or a lot of time and effort with a drill and chisel or whatever else you have handy to gouge out the rubber bushing and then deal with the metal sleeve.
