I have had the ignition module, fuel sender and fuel filter replaced but still have problems starting sometimes. Never know when or where. It may start immediately, may not and always runs good. May take several times cranking or may have to come back to it later.

Intermittent faults like that are really irritating.

1st question (just to be clear): the starter is doing its part to crank the engine; the engine just doesn't run, right?

One thing to maybe try now: Pull codes from the computer (see tests at www.dalidesign.com/hbook/eectest.html). Some no-starts are noticed by the computer, and an appropriate code stored.

Beyond that , the next time it won't start, try to determine if it's a lack of fuel, spark, or both that prevents it from starting.
