a front brake job was done right before I bought this one. trying to locate a vibration which turned out to be an out of balance and slightly bent r/front wheel I jacked up the front (4wd) to check lateral play and tie rods and behold the hubs were'nt as snug as should be passenger side way loose which I corrected useing on-line info (and experience I did a stint as a VW mechanic many years back) as a guide.
although the brakes are working (maybe not as sharply as should be) the ABS light is on (also Brakelight) and I'm thinking if I've read correctly the bleeding was'nt carried out very well.
any brake techs here that could provide info on the light and bleeding front and rear? this set-up is different and newer than anything I've wrenched on.

I'm NOT a brake tech, but I have a similar truck (93). Mine has a bleeder valve at an ABS? box tucked inside the driverside framerail roughly below the firewall. To do a full proper bleed, it's RR first, then LR, then that box, then RF and LF.
My year has only rear ABS, so maybe that box only applies to rear ABS? Do you know if your 94 has 4 wheel ABS?

thanks for the info. no I don't know if my '94 has all wheel abs. I checked the sticker on the door but no 'code' there I could find.
does have both the 'ABS' light in the lower righthand outer edge of the instrument panel and the 'brakes' light behind that on the gauge panel
they are both on.
