94 Xlt Instrument Cluster Removal

I cant remove the white part of the instrument cluster to install reverse indiglo lights any solutions..... i have removed all screws and all gauges except the speedometer and odometer. i cant remove those either... any help would be appreciated.!!!

You have to remove the screws holding the cluster in. There are like 8 or 9 around the outer edge of the cluster. Then reach behind it and unplug one plug on toward the pass. side. It's horizontal and you'll have to squeeze the side tabs in toward each other. Then using a long flathead screw driver. Pry the speedo cable away from the back of the housing. Next pull it out and remove the second plug on the opposite side of the steering column. Its vertical and the clips are top to bottom
