95 Explorer starting problem

Hey every one i am new here and need a lil help plz.
I have a 95 Explorer Ltd 4.0 4x4 I am having problems getting it to crank
sometimes i can go to it and it will start rite up and some times it just clicks like the battery is dead, might start 20 times but then if i drive for 1/2 hr so so trun it and try to start it just acts like the battery is dead again.
This is the 3rd battery iv had in it, new battery cables, all wires from starter
checked, checked ignition switch, replaced solenoid on firewall. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How old is the starter itself? I have seen starters that will not engage when they get hot, and intermittently as well.

Thx for the help i changed out the starter and got it fixed, this is after thr local starter shop told me i didnt need a starter lol, anyway thx guys.
