Please help. I have a explorer with major problems. I bought it used about one year ago. About 4 months ago the check engine light came on. I went out and bought a ford code reader, hooked it up and it spit out codes 332 and 176. The truck ran the same as always. My boyfriend and I live in a retirement community with no garage only a carport, and he works all day so is limited to time and space to work on truck. The new problem is i was driving up a hill and the od light starts flashing and when I'm at 3000rpms i have to let off the gas for it to shift. I really think its electrical but not sure. Ya see for about 3 or 4 months now every once in awhile when i got in the truck I noticed the radio stations weren't set anymore like the battery had died or something. Then every once in a while when starting the power locks would go up and down and evrything come on but truck wouldn't start turn off key try again and it'd start right up. The other day at Oreillys automotive i go out and it won't start, the guy comes out checks the battery and says it has a dead cell. When I go in to buy a new one he noticed ithe one in the truck wasn't the one it should have had so i bought the bigger(right) one. Could this have screwed up electrical? Also, ran the code reader again after the od light came on and the newest code 513 pcm internal voltage something or another came up. Please any comments would be very much appreciated. We don't have the$$$$$for a new transmission, so I rally hope it's a sensor. Oh yeah, my boyfriend was looking at it yesterday and said there was a bare wire to the vehicle speed sensor ,it had some fluid on it so he cleaned it up put electrical tape on it andsaid something about the wiring harness having no power all this means nothing to me all i know is i need transportation and have no money to throw away at guessing mechanics, or at Ford dealerships. Thanks......Lori
