hi All,
Have a 96 Sport with the OHV 4.0L 4x4 of course...
lately, when I turn the wheel, I'm getting "chattering" only when usually turning to the right...
fluid looks fine, but the rack has been leaking for a while... not so bad when the wheels are lowered on the ground, but when up, the pass side is dripping pretty good at the boot for the tie rod...
it does this most noticably at slow right turns, or even when Im stopped....
Air in the rack? other ideas?
