96 Explorer Lift

So I found this lift kit on rough country's website:

Do the 96 Ranger and 96 Explorer have the same front suspension? It says this kit fits up until a 97 ranger, but does not mention the explorer.

No, they don't. Rangers ran the TTB until 97, going IFS in 98. The Explorers switched to IFS in 95.

Figures. So what do you think my options are for lifting a 96 explorer?

You've got a couple of options. Torsion twist and shackles, add a leaf. Superlift makes a 4" lift(big bucks). Also body lift is another option.

Yeah I saw the superlift, a little pricier than what I want. Probably going to go with torsion twist and add a leaf. Any tips on good prices/products for that?

I got my add-a-leaf on Amazon for about $37.00. Explorer Pro Comp #13120. Warrior Shackles. I forget the part number, but I got them at Desert Rat.com.

Monroe coil overs with tt and 31's.

Here's mine with TT/shackles, add-a-leaf and 2" body lift on 32's.

Next to stock Ex for comparison.
