Hi, Im hoping I'm in the right area for my post. Having some trouble navigating here. :-( Anyways heres my problem. We are looking at buying a 1996 xlt explorer with auto trans. The guy says it runs and drives fine for for 30 minutes then the trans starts to slip. I was wondering if was a possible band, solenoid, sensor or computer issue. Ive known trannys to slip but once they start slipping its usaully all the time. Any info on this problem would really help. Thanks for the read.
