I want to spool the front of my 96 and i was wondering what your thoughts were on the effects it might have since the driveshaft will constantly be rotating now.

you cant, or shouldnt put a spool in the front BAD IDEA! DON'T DO IT.. WE WARNED YOU!

Actually, with the vacuum disconnect on the '96 (and '95), you could get away with it. I would be sure to use JDraper's Vacuum Disconnect Mod so you have control over the disconnect. And, the driveshaft rotates now anyway.

First off, good luck finding a spool for the front. Secondly you'll more than likely grenade something in the front diff real quick. Lastly you're steering would not like the added stress, steering would be pretty difficult.

One side would have a lot of torque steering, the odd balance of rotating mass would make the steering very weird. Stop thinking about that.

Consider a True Trac diff, for added 4WD traction. Good luck,
