97 5.0 V8 Freeze plugs rotted out

Bought the car as a project recently
It's a limited AWD 5.0 v8

just wondering how much one would charge to replace all the freeze plugs around the engine

does this require pulling the engine?

Should sealant be applied ?

And pretty much I just want a rough estimate of what I'm looking at

Also I'm wondering if anyone here has a diagram of the area I'm referring to

You may want to look into copper screwdown freeze plugs. I replaced some of mine and they hold up very well. Locktite red may be a good choice for a sealant. Be careful not to scratch the bores when removing them. Heard that RTV could make things slippery, just relaying what I read on the net. Probably fine to use.One of the machine shops here uses them for people who want to drain the block easily. That is how I found out about them. If you can see the plug you can get it in, not sure about the v8 though.

I need a diagram of the expansion/freez plugs if anyone out there has one

its a v8 5.0 limited trim

i sealed one but i cant figure out where the other leak is coming from but its dripping towards rear-center of the engine

im sure its another plug as they are all rotted out im trying to see if i can temporarily fix itto drive short distances ( 4 miles a day )in the meanwhile
