I have a 97 EB AWD with "air suspension" and 15" rims that is in desperate need of new tires. I have been told by Ford and a local shop, that I could not put 16" rims on because of the special suspension, it might rub. shen I switch to off road setting, etc. Does anyone of have ideas as to the correct solution for situation? I would like to put 16" EB wheels with a little larger tire than my 235 15x65's. I would like a little more aggresive look (it currently looks pretty low due to the 15"ers) and stance, as well as good handling. On my previous '95 I put some 30" Duelers which looked great. However I am concerned about how changing the wheel and tire size will affect my awd and anti-lock brakes.
Bottomline, I need lot's of assistance. Pls help.
