97 Explorer Console Bracket removal

I have a 99 ford ranger and Ive pulled a center console from a 97 ford explorer. But can't figure out how to remove the big mounting bracket for the center console, that holds it to the floor.
How do I remove the big mounting bracket? Is it bolted, and if so how many, and will I need to pull out the carpet? Thanks

My guide mentions the removal of both type of console brackets.

It's just 4 bolts in the corners of the bracket, under the carpet.

Calm down..

First off, what console do you have, the long on or the short one?
Neither of the brackets are welded. I posted a link with all the info you need. If you read through it, you'd know what to do by now.

Its the full length console.

The full length console is riveted on. Either drill out the rivets and punch them out the proper way. Or pry at them with a crow bar.
