97 Explorer with no brake lights.

Have a 97 5.0L EB and no brake lights, checked BOO and power and finally checked LOM, had two pins with holes, soldered them and then worked for a short time, now out again. Does anyone know which color wires i can cut and by-pass the LOM for my brake lights. Called the dealer and FORD discontinued manufacture of the part so no luck on a new one.

Anyone have an overall wiring schematic of the LOM for that year they could send me?

Any help would be apprciated

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 95-01 section. Contact one of the vendors on this site. I'm sure that somebody will have what you're looking for. Don't cut any wires or bypass anything.

Try a different dealer. The LOM module is NOT discontinued.
