Hello everybody. I have a 97 Explorer Sport with the 4.0 OHV and 5-speed manual transmission. My 4x4 selector says (Auto, High, Low). My issue is when I switch from Auto to High I can feel that its engaged but the light doesn't always come on. Is this a precursor to a bigger problem? Will a new shift motor fix this? I'm just trying to make sure that it will be good to go when the snow hits.
