I've had this issue for several years now, but haven't done anything about it. Both front seat backs have some slight play or can rock back and forth slightly when you push or pull them (or come to a hard stop). The seat base seems to be locked in tight to the floor so I don't think that's the problem. It just seems to be the backs relative to the base. There is no issue with the seat recliner locking or anything like that. I'm hoping it's just something that can be tightened but I haven't torn apart the seat to see what's there.

<BUMP>

Thoughts anyone?

My seats rock back and forth quite a bit too. The whole seat top and bottom together. A couple of years ago, I looked under the seat and saw the motor assemblies and linkages had alot of play. I replaced the power seat track with a brand new one and the rocking stopped.

Recently, the driver's seat has loosened up pretty bad again. The passenger seat is a little loose now too, but not bad. Not really sure what I'm going to do now. The tracks don't seem to last long before getting sloppy, and this time I'll have to pay out of pocket.

Look under your seat with a light while someone else rocks the seat back and forth. You'll get a decent view of what moves, but shouldn't. Might be something else. :dunno:

Anyone figured something out with this yet?

7 years later...I would hope so.
