98 Eddie Bauer Explorer

Hello i'm new to the forum and I was wondering if a lift kit on an Eddie Bauer edition Explorer would be worthwhile considering the trim pieces on the fenders and the steps on the bottom of it. If i were to put a lift kit on the explorer, what size tires could i go up to without having to trim or remove the trim pieces? I'll probably use the explorer for driving in the dunes so maybe removing the trims could help prevent high-centering the explorer?

This is my Explorer, im referring to the tan trim pieces and the bottom step.

It would help a little, but you will have a bunch of tiny holes to fill. Or, you could get the bottom rocker trim pieces, the fenderwell holes would remain though...

I get mad soccerball clearance with the trim pieces...

If you are looking to sell the running boards to do this, I would gladly purchase the drivers side board if you want. I am in the Chicago area.
