98 explorer fog light bulb options

Hi,
I have a 1998 ford explorer and have a question about the fog light bulbs. Right now my fog light uses 893 bulbs. i was wondering if i can use the 880 bulbs in it's place. Reason I ask is because i have piaa extreme white plus on the head lights and want the fogs to match. Unfortunatly, the piaa's don't come in 893 only in 880. Would the 880's work?
Thanks

The 893 is a single filament bulb with a PG13 base same as 880, 884, 885, 892, 899, they just use different wattage.

Thanks for the reply. So there should'nt be any issues then? Is the light output weaker than an 893?

I don't remember

You can get 893s lots of other places. Luminics makes an 893 bulb that is pretty good, and they are all over e-bay.
