98 Explorer v6 - v8 swap

Hey guys im looking to change my v6 sohc to a 5.0 v8. Now i know for a fact that it will fit my question is if i change to a v8 do i only need to change the computer *ECU* and it will work or do i need to change other wiring.:exporange

when swapping a v6 to a v8 i assume i would need to change the trans and the axles/driveshafts too correct?

rad, trains cooler, PATS, i think the power steering cooler is different as well as some of the lines, as well as some A/C stuff as well.

From radiator to rear driveshaft you will change everything including the exhaust if you are doing a full bolt in conversion
Throttle cable, high pressure steering line are parts people often forget to change while the engine is out
The computer controls the engine and transmission. Also contains pats security sooooooo yes you have to change all of it to go v8
