98' Limited

I just got a 98' limited edition explorer, 4wd, 5.0. I've been considering a lift but I am unsure of what type of lift to put on considering I am working with a limited budget.

Welcome to the site.. You say you have a 98 limited V8? Then you have All wheel drive not 4WD... You can do a couple of options.. You can do a body lift with some minor modifications using a Performance Accessories #883 body lift for a Ranger or you can do a Torsion bar twist & shackle to give you about 1.5"

Right now I'm considering the TT/Shackles lift. Some things to make your searching easier.

TT=Tortion Twist
AAL=Add A Leaf
SOA=Spring over axle
War 153=Warriors part number of the shackles for the Explorer
