I just got done Installing a 98 subwoofer box into my 97 xlt , I wired into the factory 97 amp wiring and it works perfect ,
the speaker was blown in the 98 box, but I found the same size sub 8 1/2 out of a 2005 Escape with the Mach system .
sounds great and I enjoy it more with the Mach sub,
next I am going to put all the 2005 escape mach door speakers in my explorer
just a nice cheap upgreade.
I got all the parts from a salvage yard that I pulled myself,
total cost 60.00 ...
