I have a 1999 Explorer XLT with the 4.0 OHV engine that is starting to give me cold starting issues. I only have issues with the cold start. It starts fine when hot. The cold start seems like one or two cylinders fires before the rest and the starter seems to almost kick out then "catch" up for the the remaining of the start. Runs well rest of the time. Don't know if I have a fuel supply problem at start only or what. Don't know when the fuel filter was last changed.Truck has 117,000 and was well maintained seemingly.
