Got a "new" 99' xlt and have been going over things and I noticed that the a/c is only coming from the defrost duct, nothing from the panels, my mech checked the vacume valves and bypassed the one that operates the the panel doors and it works so I need a new vacume switching valve, found an after market one from dorman, has anyone had to replace this unit? more important... where is it? I know its on the right side, but he never showed me where he tested the valves. Thanks All

Welcome to this forum! Check the vacuum diagram under the hood. This is the first time that I've heard about one of the servos going bad. It's usually a cracked vacuum line or a rubber connector that leaks, and not the actual servo piston.
