a/c issues

i have an 03 xlt with an a/c problem. it blows hot on the driveside dash vents and cold on the pass. vents. i have no clue why..... help

Welcome to this forum! It might be a vacuum related problem. There are servo pistons in the dashboard which open to allow the vents to work.

so how is that diagnosed. do i need to pull the dash apart?

Check the color coded plastic vacuum lines for cracks at the point where they meet the servos. They are connected with small rubber connectors.

has anyone else experienced this problem? dog days of summer here in the northeast and i'm noticing that the drivers side vent blows luke warm/room temp air while the middle vents under the radio are ice cold........anyone else have this problem and how did you fix it? I just had the a/c recharged and now is when i'm noticing it the most. any help would be great Thanks
