- 1991 Ranger XLT
Hello All, I have a 1991 Ranger 3.0. I am converting it over to R134 and replacing everything due to Black Death. I have found all the parts except the Manifold line, part # F1TZ-19D850-A or YF-1688. It has to have an "A" suffix because the compressor is on the right and connects to the condenser on the left. I checked with my Ford dealer and it's not available through them. I found one by searching the net, but it's way overpriced. I have a place that makes hydraulic lines and they can make one for me. I just need to know what the small canisters in the line are for and is it possible to just eliminate them. I can use my old connectors but the canisters are rusted pretty bad and can't be re-used.
