Okay, so first off I'm not 100% sure that this is post in the correct place. I apologize if it isn't. Now on to the questions. Can someone give me feedback on the 'Brown wire mod'? And secondly, I have a bad CV joint. It makes a pinging type of sound when i turn left. If I did the brown wire mod, essentially would I be able to temporarily take the CV out until I can get the money for a new one. Or would that not work since it's a live axle?
