Lowering questions!

Hey guys, I am in need of some answers on dropping my x and adding some 20-22" wheels.

1. How long can i go with my 4wd?

2. Is 22" to big of a rim and how much will it effect my turning radius?

If anyone has any input for these questions, I welcome you to give me that info. My X always stays on the pavement so i guess clearance isn't gonna have to be to much, but need it for those occasional potholes and bumps.

What do you mean how long can you go with your 4wd? I don't think lowering a 4wd vehicle is good; I know you'll put the front half shafts/axles/cvjoints at a bad angel and will eventually wear out.

You can drop it about 2" without damaging anything. Personally I'd go with 20's. 22's are just too big for an X.
