Ok ive lifted a few Rangers and broncoiis already

but am about to attempt to lift up and explorer

what i need to know is

the drop brackets ( axle and Radious arms)

are the same off an 1983-1997 Ranger/ BroncoII
kit correct?

so basically and lift kit off and 1996 Ranger ( 6" superlift)

will work on the front end of say and 93 explorer
because the coils and drop brackets should be the same
are they not?

i know the rear of the explorer is a tad different
seeing its spring under the axle OK my welding
is not that great so i'm not going to even attempt
the spring over till later on ( maybe next fall)

whats my best way to gain 5-6" out back of my explorer to level it out with the front?

will a set of shackles and add leafs do the trick?

and were and what kind do i need to get?

OK last but not least question is...........

with this lift installed and all and done will my driveshafts still be ok?

I know when i did my 91 Ranger with the 4.0L
with the 6" suspension lift and 3" body lift and
ran 35's for 3 years befoer selling i had no problems
with driveshafts OH and this is adn 4dr explorer

thanks

If you are considering the 5.5 superlift, it comes with a bolt on flip kit, that can later be stitch welded. Most 6" lifts used here are the skyjacker class two, excellent kit. Will have to either fab spring over, or go with superlift flip kit. And yes same as ranger in suspension.
