1991 3.0 2wd. 100,000 miles. This little tranny on occasions will go into neutral while trying to down shift. It is a kick down flare push the accerator down and it will over rev let off and it is fine. No issues up shifting I think it is 2 to 1 down shift not hundred percent sure could be 3 to 2. I have changed filter and replaced that amount of fluid. Did a band adjust. Not hard pieces in the pan just the usual black goop on the magnet. The truck isn’t worth a trip to a shop. Trying to diagnose to determine fate of granddaughters ride. Any ideas or tips would be a apprecated..
