My trans blew up on my 93 4wd explorer. can i swap in the a4ld from a 1988 ford mustang with the 2.3l engine? just bolt my transfer case onto it right?

No you can not Just bolt the Transfer case to the mustang trans , the output shaft would need to be changed , Among other things that Might need to be done !
