Apparently no one here has added a leaf to the monoleafs
that come on the Gen 2 Sports yet, so this is how it goes:

There are a couple of companies that supply the AALs
for the monoleafs now, I ordered mine from SD Springs.
Part no. is 43-1183-XL. It's a 3 inch wide leaf, the same
as the stock spring width and almost as long as stock.

There were no surprises with installation; I simply
removed the shock from the mount, 4 nuts holding the
U-bolts to the spring plate, and the nut on the centering
pin. That one was a bear, but a propane torch and
penetrating oil finally persuaded it to loosen.

Installation is just a matter of 'leaving' out (pun intended)
one of the dummy leaf spacers found on the monoleafs,
and replacing it with the AAL. A C-clamp helps to secure
the leaf while everything is bolted back again in reverse
order.

Time ran out on me today, so only one side is done, but
the AAL gave about 3/4 inch of lift on the drivers side.
I figure with the other side installed, total lift will be
about 1-1.5 inches. When pushing down on the bumper,
the AAL side is much firmer than the other side.

I'll try to post a pic when it's finished, and report back
as to how it rides.....
