I got the following code from my reader:
"Anti Lock Brake System Outlet Valve Coil Right Front Circuit Malfunction"

I'll be completely honest. I just started getting into wanting to fix things on my car. I'm a little tired of having to pay someone, so I've decided to do it myself. My ABS light has been on like this for close to a year, but the last time I had it checked out, nobody could tell me exactly what was wrong. Had someone change out the sensors to see if that fixed the problem at the time, but it didn't.

Any advice? Thanks.

Probably a bad hydraulic control unit (HCU).

Yup, the coil in the HCU is either open or shorted.
Look for an LKQ unit on the internet and replace it.

Not to sound stupid, but what's an LKQ Unit?

Also, thanks to both of you. After some research, I had narrowed it down to either the ABS Module or the HCU, but I wasn't sure which was more likely. Given that most of the cases where the ABS module was bad gave many codes, while the HCU being bad gave one code, I was leaning towards the HCU, but this pretty much confirms it.

I've also read that the brakes need to be bled after replacing it. Anyone have a tutorial on how to do that?
