My abs light is on, its not blinking or anything, it stays on. When it is really cold outside and I first start it, it doesnt come on, but after my truck warms up, it does come on. I had a buddy say it might be a speed sensor, or maybe the abs sensor, if so where are these sensors located? Any suggestions?

Well after months of driving with lousy brakes, I spend the weekend fixing them. New hardware, pads rotors drums and shoes, I went to bleed them. Absolutely no pressure going to the rears. Ended up being the ABS hydraulic unit. I realized this after seeing spiderwebs in the old drums....so I've been driving on fronts only

Point of this story- now my ABS light comes on just like yours. SO I have no idea, but I will post it if I figure it out. Good luck

Well i have the same light, ABS, second time for me.
What is happening the ABS moudule has a problem which trips the light, it could be a lot of things. Wheel Sensors if you DON'T have RSC then there are only 3 - two in the front and one in the rear diff. With RSC you get 4 on the corners.

First one i had the dealer hook a code reader for ABS (not a standard reader either) to tell me its the Rear sensor failure under Warr. they replaced it and it went a way for 3 years.

Now, i have yet to find out what sensor it is this time as i have to make a trip to a Stealership to find out. . . My guess its the front bearing/sensor this time, but i'm only guessing.
Most common that i have heard about is the Rear sensor, Left Front seems next, Master Cyl. Switch, then then everthing else. . . .
