ABS please help

expo5.0, bleed the brakes normally, very well. It will be driveable, but the pedal will not be firm, and the max brake power will be less.

I have two 95 Crown Vics. The one which I wanted to keep didn't have ABS. I bought everything needed from wrecked cars, and installed ABS. It works beautifully, but I haven't yet had the ABS pump bled.

Try to use factory lines if you can. You might look at some other vehicles to see if you can find some factory lines to rebend to fit you truck. The Crown Vic as an example locates the pump just behind the radiator support, farther than the Explorer. I believe Mustangs have the pump even farther away.

My point is that factory lines have perfect ends that will not leak. Double flaring a line to take brake pressure is not easy. I had to combine two front halfs of rear brake lines with two rear halfs of rear brake lines on my 95 CV. They have four wheel ABS, unlike our three wheel ABS. I was very careful, and didn't have a leak. Good luck,
Don
