I have searched everywhere and cannot find a problem exactly like mine. A/C works just fine. Air is cold and heat works like it should. Problem is the grinding noise coming from behind the glovebox. The sound is faint, but noticeable, on low, and gets louder and faster as the ac fan is cranked higher to max which is 4. Anybody know what the problem is? Quick home fix? I really don't want to pour a few hundred dollars in to a vehicle that I plan on getting rid of in 6 mos or less
Hopefully the image posts ok. If not, I will describe where the noise is coming form. It is coming from the black circular box that is directly beneath the cabin air filter
